I think with all the bad and horrible things said about gamers and gaming, that it is time to show some of the good that is in the gaming community. I know there is a stigma that all gamers are basement dwelling mama boys with pasty skin and egomania based on their online lives, it’s not true. The truth is most gamers are adults with jobs, families and really big hearts. Check out the following charities and help out if you can. I’m a huge believer in karma and that what we put out there will come back to us, so let’s help some of these charities give the world a huge Spirit buff.

Video game violence can be a hot topic. I think it is delusional and short sighted to blame violent tendencies of a child wholly on a game. I think a child can play any game their parent feels they are mature enough for. I’ve met 8 year olds who were better zombie slayers than me. I think it’s all in the approach, parents who have a more hands-on parenting style probably allows their children more freedom to choose their games. Why? Because they know what their child can handle, they talk to their kid and they explain how fantasy differs from reality.
